The SA Publication Forum's Corporate Publication Competition was established in 2002 with the aim of rewarding excellence in internal and external corporate communication media. The thorough feedback by our expert judges also makes the competition an excellent training opportunity.
In the region of 150 publications, e-newsletters and corporate websites are received every year. Entries are received across the board, from government to corporates to one-man-shows and agencies. The competition grows in stature every year and the SA Publication Forum strives to continuously fine-tune and streamline the competition to meet the needs of corporate communicators.
This is what previous award winners have to say:
"Santam's Corporate Communication team puts a high premium on the quality of all our publications. We believe that our respective audiences deserve only the best and we endeavour to give them that with each publication. We enter our publications in the competition to benchmark ourselves against our peers and also see it as an exercise where we can get invaluable feedback and constructive criticism from an independent judging panel." Shireen Sedres, Santam, multiple award winner and Editor of the Year 2007
"The competition affords you a golden opportunity to have your publication evaluated by experts in the industry. You can therefore ascertain whether your publication is on the right track and also where there is room for improvement." Trudie Myburgh, editor: Sandaba (Sanlam), winner of the Best Corporate Publication 2008
"The fairness in the judging of the DVDs has been the main attraction to when entering. After the awards we have received written feedback about each DVD. This feedback is invaluable to us. The feedback makes it clearly apparent that the DVDs had been watched from beginning to end, and that the judges had a clear understanding of the target market and communication objective. The biggest attribute to the judging is the honest manner in the way the work is judged, and that great work is perceived as great work with no other agenda." Chris West-Russell, The African Motion Picture Company, multiple award winner in the Corporate DVD section
